In many parts of the world, “chai” is simply the word for tea. However, in the West, the word chai has become synonymous with the glorius, fragrant and spicy Indian brew. Our caffeine-free version can potentially benefit heart health, digestion, blood sugar levels and more! This tea is rich with antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and phytocannabinoids, such as CBD.

The cannabinoids (eg. CBD) in hemp are not water soluble so we recommend adding some sort of fat to the tea such as coconut oil to give the cannabinoids and terpenes something to hold on to. This step is optional but to supercharge your cuppa, follow these instructions:
Take 1 heaped teaspoon per cup and infuse in hot water. Add your choice of fat and let it steep (soak in water) for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavour. Add milk and sugar to taste. To increase the potency of your brew, you can lightly simmer the tea, water and milk in a saucepan for 15-20 minutes before serving. If you don’t use milk, you can instead add 1/4 teaspoon of coconut oil to the pan to help with the absorption of CBD and other good stuff!
