Hemp leaf tea is rich in antioxidants, terpenes and active cannabinoids such as cannabidiol (CBD).
It has a very pleasant taste – earthy and sweet with hints of the hemp terpenes. As with any other tea, you can modify it to taste by sweetening it, adding milk (we recommend a plant milk such as almond or coconut) or a squeeze of lemon.
Zero Waste Packaging… As always
Packaged in a neat, reusable aluminium slide tin (8g) which is easily recycled from home or in a 40g resealable pouch made from kraft paper and plant based plastic making it completely compostable.
CBD is not water soluble so we recommend adding some sort of fat to the tea such as coconut oil. This gives the cannabinoids and terpenes something to hold onto and mix into the water more evenly. You can skip this step but the oils from the hemp will eventually separate and sit on top of the water and require regular stirring.
Take 1 teaspoon of dry hemp leaf tea per cup and infuse in hot water. Add your choice of fat and let it steep (soak in water) for 5 minutes or more, depending on how strong you want the tea.
